Let the Partnership Begin
Parents and teachers agree that there are four key elements a child needs to have in order to be successful.
1. Discipline
2. Respect
3. High self-esteem
4. An understanding of what it is to work hard
They also agree that these four key elements come from home and are enhanced by their experiences at school. Personally, I feel that my role as an educator is to assist parents as they raise moral and academically astute. Teaching cognitive skills is not enough. It is my moral obligation to help parents of students I serve grow into productive and successful members of society.
Though, it all begins at home
